The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (DIEM) conducts world-class research and education focusing on the creation and transformation of technology-based business. This is examined from three complementary perspectives: strategy and venturing, operations, and people. Combining technological, economic, and organizational knowledge, the department has a long-standing history of highly multidisciplinary research in collaboration with industry and other organizations.
